Lessons
Initial lessons will cover getting to know you as a student, what music you like, and the basics of drumming. After this, my lessons are tailored to each student taking into account their own personal music tastes as well as learning the essentials for each drumming grade.
I base my teachings around recognised examining bodies such as Trinity Rock and Pop, and Rock School. We will cover drumming patterns, skills which are essential for each drumming grade, as well as focusing on the tracks which you'll be expected to play through in your exam.
I will also teach you essential skills and knowledge you will need to make it a lot easier to create your own music. This is very helpful for if you choose to join a band. It will widen your ability on the drums and take you from only being able to play covers of existing songs, to creating your own songs and music.
Online Lessons
To assist with your lessons, you will have access to my online lessons on Youtube which will be exclusive to my students. These lessons will offer an extension of what we cover in our lessons enabling you to get more information. They will also include play along videos to help with your playback skills, and other such exercises which you can watch back at your own leisure to refresh your memory.
These videos will not be available to the public but as an added bonus to paying students so you get more than just physical drum lessons for your money. These videos will be available to all students whether you pay for 30 minute lessons or 1 hour lessons.
