Your examinations are run through external exam boards which you can choose between. I will teach you what they will expect you to play. Exam boards will usually expect you to play through a selection of songs using their backing tracks, as well as either an improvised piece of music or a playback for you to replicate after you've heard it, and a technical focus song. This is a song with en especially difficult technique involved but still under whichever grade you're trying to achieve.
